• Hi there. Im loving this plugin. Just found it yesterday and it will be of great use when i get it up and running.

Im having a small problem with my e-mails though. Currently i have the system set to notify my at “address A” when someone makes an application for a job. This works fine as i have addedd the address to each catagory. (Although i have removed it to try to get this to work)

However, if i post a couple of test jobs and use “address B” as the address to be notified it will not send anything to that address when an application is made. The applications menu shows no e-mail in the system nor does the e-mail page.

When i select the specific application and then try to manually e-mail it, the page laods again and nothing happens (I still have all my sidebars though).

I have installed this on another site i have and the same problem is occuring there.

Not being too PHP/CSS/HTML minded, what can i do to fix this?

  • Are you setting Address B in the job, or the category?

Also, is Address B able to receive other emails from WordPress? (ie, if you set it to be notified when a new comment is posted.)

Hi, thanks for the fast reply!

Address A is in the catagory field.

Address B is being used when a new job is created in the “Application Email” field.

Address B works fine so far as i can see. Both the addresses i tested with are located on the same mail server as the site but i also tried a hotmail address too which has not worked.

What im aiming for is to have an application sent to both my business “contact@…” and also to different customer addreses depending on the job posting.

Ah, I see. I ran into this bug a couple of days ago – I’ve written a fix for it, I’ll hopefully have time to release it this week.

Thanks for the feedback, and don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions!

Ahhh, nice at least its not me doing it wrong!

Ill keep an eye out for the update. In the meantime i have loads of banners to create for the new site…!

    Cheers.
