[Plugin: Jetpack] How do I remove WP comment url field from jetpack comments?

I have the same exact problem described in this post.
The author responded by saying its not possible because the form is hosted and theres no current way to do this. But that they are working on ways to customize the form. This was 2 years ago.
Has there been any update (I havent been able to find any) to this?
I get so much spam because people can put in a URL. Akismet and other plugins ive tried cant keep up.
If we removed the website field and had a way to strip all urls from comments it would dramatically reduce spam.
