[Plugin: Jetpack] Enable comment subscriptions but disable post notifications?

    I am self hosted but have Jetpack installed. I send my new posts out via Mailchimp so I don’t want to notify people of posts through Jetpack, but I want to have the checkbox below the comments section on each post where you can subscribe to comments.

    How can I enable Jetpack comment subscriptions without emailing people when a new post is published?

    (Note: before I had Mailchimp I had people signed up to receive posts via Jetpack, so as you can’t delete these email addresses I don’t want to be sending an auto email to these people)
