[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] When commenting, automatically receive comment notifications?

Hi, I am trying JetPack for the first time on my self-hosted blog at HostGator. It works quite well. Thanks!

One thing I would like, if possible, is something that is not possible at wordpress.com. If somebody posts a comment, I would like the “Notify me of follow-up comments by email” checkbox to be checked by default, rather than unchecked by default.

Is that possible?
