[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] Use of JetPack with BuddyPress ?

Just wondering if using JetPack with BuddyPress has any real benefits that can’t be obtained through lighter plugins. Any BuddyPress users seen examples of this combination?
In particular, I’d love to see the Recent Tweets widget working on BuddyPress groups (and Member profiles). We are currently using BuddyPress Twitter plugin which adds a follow button but no widget for latest tweets…
