    Hi there,

    I noticed this error a couple of days ago, but I’ve only really had the time to start looking at the forums for it this evening.

    I note that just as I start searching to see if anyone else was having issues, a new version of Jetpack has been released.

    So, have upgraded from 1.6 to 1.7 just now, but I’m still seeing this error when I try & get my site stats

    invalid_signature: The timestamp is too old.

    Can anyone help?

    Hi — it sounds like perhaps your server’s time/date is misconfigured.

    Do you have control over that, or can you check that the time configuration on your server is correct?

    I’m hosted remotely. Don’t control my own servers.

    So, what would I need to ask Tech. Support to check for me please?
    As in specific wording.

    Simply is the clock on the Server that I’m hosted on in their farm correct?

    Hmmm… Looking at my “WP-to-Twitter” Plugin, that says

    Your server time: Saturday, 25-Aug-12 18:17:05 UTC.
    Twitter’s current server time: Saturday, 25-Aug-12 17:49:03 UTC.

    So, you are totally right! That’s over 1/2hour slow. That’s going to make all the difference!

    Support ticket time, here I come.

    Hmm…

    Your server time: Tuesday, 28-Aug-12 11:06:39 UTC.
    Twitter’s current server time: Tuesday, 28-Aug-12 11:06:40 UTC.

    So, I reactivated Site Stats, and it worked once, but then stopped & I’m still seeing this error.

    I rechecked the time showing in wp-to-twitter…

    Any other ideas?

    oh, now it’s working again.. I think me my ISP was mucking about!

    It’s also possible that you’re being hosted from more than one server, and that only one of them is off. Hopefully your host got it/will get it updated and that will fix the problem.
