• I installed JetPack on one of my blogs without issue. Worked just fine.

I then felt okay installing it on my main blog. Install and connection were without issue. The problem? The stats page is showing the old WP Stats page, not the new JetPack page. In addition, it’s just showing top referrers, links in, etc, and not the graph. It’s the old page, minus the graph. I figured it was a possible cache issue. I cleared cache. I restarted my browser. I logged in and out. I tried via a secondary browser. I uninstalled and reinstalled and reconnected. All showing the old stats page with JetPack properly installed.

I thought, for a second, that this new plugin wouldn’t allow multiple uses of one WordPress.com account for multiple blogs. So I tried installing JetPack on my third blog to see if that was the issue. Install went by without a hitch, showing the new stats page and debunking that theory.

I have no idea why I have the old stats page on 1 out of 3 installs. Any advice? (Have deactivated, un and reinstalled twice now. No go.)

Update: Went in to physically remove instead of just pressing delete. Then went ahead and re-configured my JetPack stats configuration.

    And?

I still have the old stats page with a big blank graph and totally decimated stats.

@firemom can you please contact us through https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service and make sure you provide the URL of the website you’re having trouble on, and the WordPress.com username that you connected to when installing Jetpack.

If you can also include the URLs of your other sites that are working, and a link to this thread, that’ll make sure we have everything in one place as well. Thanks.

All information sent. Thank you for your time!

Please share with us any solution you get with this issue. It’s been bugging me and I know others want to hear the solution as well.

Hi, I had the same problem on my wife’s self hosted blog.
My blog updated fine (same hosting provider, same plugins…), but she saw the old page with the empty chart on her blog.

I solved this annoying bug this way:

    1) Go to your profile, change your name (e.g. “John2” instead of “John”) and save. I did this on the admin user.
    2) Jetpack stats should work.
    3) Change your name back to the right one and save.

    HTH,
    Giacomo

giacom8 : Now why did that work? That was easy.

Just to be clear – I just tried this on the only user profile I was having trouble with – I simply changed the first name of the user, saved, check the stats, I’m now seeing the new stats, changed the user’s first name back, checked stats again, all is fine.

Also worked here. I really didn’t think that it would, but was pleasantly surprised. So big kudos to giacom8 for figuring it out. JetPack “officials” have been in contact with me via email for a few days now and couldn’t figure it out.

    You have my appreciation!

Thanks, Giacomo. Even though it sounded absurd, it did the trick for me.

    Thanks a ton!

Giacom8, thanks for that fix! Worked here too.

I FINALLY get JetPack working and get THIS error:

    “Whoops!

There was a small systems error. Please try refreshing the page and if the error is still there drop us a note and let us know.”

In fact, it crashes my whole Dashboard page, making it nothing but a white page.

Breathe in, breathe out. Anyone else experiencing it? (I have it cross-blog right now.)

Just got this error on the stats page:

    “Goshdarnit!

Something has gone wrong with our servers. It’s probably Matt’s fault.

We’ve just been notified of the problem.

Hopefully this should be fixed ASAP, so kindly reload in a minute and things should be back to normal.”

Strange days in WordPress land lately…

Support page for WordPress.com (who runs JetPack) reads:

WordPress.com is currently experiencing a few problems. We are pushing all of our resources to resolve the issue as soon as possible. The latest information will be posted here. Thanks so much for your patience.

Same problem fro me, included the message

    Whoops!
There was a small systems error. Please try refreshing the page and if the error is still there drop us a note and let us know

Well, I’d say they know, by now. What about discontinuing JetPack?

Unfortunately we’re currently experiencing some widespread problems on WordPress.com, which is affecting stats in Jetpack in addition to other services. Everyone available is working to get things running smoothly again. This is not a Jetpack-specific problem.

Ok good to know. Will there be a blog post or something to let us know when it is safe to reactivate the Jetpack plugin?
