• Jetpack counts all registered user page views for me on multiple sites despite having it setup not to – I have the following unchecked and have tried toggling it on and off again to see if the DB needed a wake up: “Registered users – Count the page views of registered users who are logged in.”.

Any thoughts on why it’s still logging registered user page views for me? Ideas how can I turn it off?

In addition to working, what would be good is to not count Administrator, Editor or Author views as opposed to all registered users.

    version: Jetpack 1.2.2

Are you running any caching plugins?

Thanks for the feedback, also. I’ve passed this along to the development team.

Could you try switching either to no cache or to WP Super Cache temporarily to see if the issue persists? There are some known issues with Jetpack and W3 Total Cache that may be why you are seeing issues recording registered user visits.

No problem Tim – I’m going to try running a few weeks with no caching and see how things go… because I’m also having issues with the latest version of Contact Form 7 (new spam protection process is fouled by Caching) as well due to Caching.
