[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] Posting comment fails to load page

So, I’m trying to use the comments feature in Jetpack for the first time. The problem is that when I attempt to post a new comment it doesn’t work…

In Safari, after hitting the submit button, it just hangs at “Submitted Comment”.

In Chrome, it fails to the load the webpage entirely.

Is it possible our web server could be blocking Jetpack’s server?

Any other ideas about what could be happening?
