[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] Opening Jetpack's CSS editor causes Firefox 15 to crash when
-
Using latest versions: Firefox 15.0.1, Firebug 1.10.3, Jetpack 1.7, on OSX 10.6.8.
Every time I open the CSS editor that comes with Jetpack to add custom css, it crashes Firefox, but only when I have firebug enabled. I’ve scoured the interwebz for people experiencing similar problems and got no results. I disabled all other extensions/plugins in firefox and the problem did not resolve. My temporary workaround has been to test all my CSS changes in Firebug, copy them to text edit document, then disabling firebug, going into the custom css editor and pasting the code, saving, exiting that screen, then re-enabling firebug to check out my changes or test out additional ones. This is silly, but it’s the only way I can keep Firefox from crashing. The other option is for me to install another Custom CSS manager, but that’s also silly since Jetpack already has one. I don’t want to install redundant plugins.
Is ANYONE else having this issue? I don’t know if it’s an issue within the Jetpack plugin or Firebug or Firefox. I udated all three of these things within a week or two of each other so not sure which could be the issue.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.
