• Hello all. Congrats on the new version. I was really happy to see the new JetPack Commenting options, so I jumped in and enabled it, first thing. When I went to a blog post to see what it looked like, there was no change.

I’ve been futzing around with it for the past few hours and I can’t seem to get it working. I’m running HeadwayThemes v2.0.13, so i suppose that could have something to do with it, but can’t be sure. Any advice?

    Here’s a post you can check: https://dfwhomessearch.com/selling/mckinney-texas-home-just-sold2/

Thanx for any guidance you can provide.

  • Make sure your theme uses comment_form() to call the comment form and not hard coded.

Well thanx for that Badluck13. That should be quite useful for a lot of people. Unfortunately, my theme does used comment_form(), so this won’t help me. I’ve passed this issue on to the guys at Headway but I don’t think they’re going to look into as as I’m using the previous gen of the framework. I also haven’t taken a moment to test it on other sites, so I’m going to do that to be sure it’s not something specific to that site.

This is a strange problem. Hope to have the issue figured out soon.

Yeah… Just loaded it up on a few other Headway 2X sites and found that it doesn’t work. I’ll do some more digging, but I’m not going to waste too much time on it as Headway is basically not supporting that version of their framework anymore. Such a pain considering 3.X basically doesn’t work right yet.
