Currently, this isn’t possible (if you mean the Jetpack Comments #respond h3). The comment form is loaded in an iFrame from the WordPress.com servers, so all of the CSS is from there. We are working on ways to make this iFrame more responsive to theme design/colors/etc.

    Hi Tim,

Exactly. Thanks for letting me know – going crazy trying to find/style this!

It would be nice if the #respond h3 heading (usually Leave a Reply) would be included outside the iframe in the main page, where the “Cancel Reply” link also appears. That way it would get the main style. The rest could remain in the iframe.

not good that you can’t style this. What I was going to try to do was leave the greeting text box blank and have the h3 styled out (like I had it originally before activating the jetpack comments, but you can’t even leave that blank!? I tried the old trick of putting a space in there, but no go…so I’m stuck with the ugly large default black boring font face for this :-/

I really wanted to use this feature of Jetpack but if I can not style the H3 to match my site; I’m going to go back to my own comments.php until it becomes possible to style the form.

The comments functionality is AMAZING, especially for a free plugin! Please let us know if/when the styling ability is sorted out, as that would make this a must-have.

I agree with astockwell. If only it could inherit font size color and weight would be great.

Thanks for this, I have to turn it off because without the styling, it is stretching my comments out across the sidebar, which kind of sucks.

I too have this problem. I resolved it temporarily by using   as title, which is a whitespace. That way no title is shown. It leaves a bit of vertical whitespace, but rather use that than an offstyle header

Bummer. This is a deal-breaker for me too.

    Hi,

is it possible to change the font of the whole comments plugin from jetpack?

My theme uses Trebuchet MS, but the whole comments section ist in Helvetica i think?

    Please let me know

    thx

DAsteph, with the way it’d currently set up, that would require changing it for everyone and probably isn’t something the Jetpack developers will do.

Everything inside the box works fine for me.

Just being able to style the H3 would be an awesome improvement.

i agree… what a bummer! hopefully this can be fixed soon (that line looks so out of place!) but for now, i’ll get by with beee’s idea:

on a kiiiiind of related note, anyone know how the wording in the comment box could be changed from ‘enter your comment here’?

    thanks to all.
