[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] How Jetpack Comments protects from Spam Bots?

Hi! I have tried Jetpack comments, they are pretty nice.

But faced couple of issues right now, may be it is having bugs, as per reported by many users.

Just having a doubt, as Jetpack disables Spam Protection Plugins like ‘G.A.S.P’ which brings a checkbox for confirmation by humans, to ensure that they’re not bots. It is not showing after enabling Jetpack Comments.

So, question is how How Jetpack Comments protects from Spam Bots?
