*I* can’t help. One of the plugins (most likely JetPack) has to change their code.
But that solution was based on the fact that SFC was causing conflicts.
If you’re not using SFC and still having issues, it will help the developers to know what version of WordPress you’re using and what theme you’re using. And active plugins, too.

I’m using the theme: intrepidity 1.5.1 by Top Blog Formula

    Active Plugins:
    All in One SEO Pack
    cbnet Ping Optimizer
    Google XML Sitemaps
    Jetpack by WordPress.com
    my beautiful tubes
    Sociable

WordPress: 3.3.2 (which it says is the latest version)

    Hopefully someone can help me.

@cozbaldwin The theme I use is “Continuum”. The-Suit.com. The Contact form is at The-Suit.com/Contact/. I use WordPress 3.3.2.

I recommend holding off on using that contact form until Jetpack is updated with the filter/action suggestion from Otto (if that is, in fact, the plan). See if that fixes it. Then check back in here if it’s not.

Does anyone have any suggestions on another good plugin to use as a contact form?

Thank you esmi…I’ll give that a shot

Contact Form 7 worked for me…thank you! However, it’s a bit more technical (being the beginner of designing websites) than I’d like. I hope the Jetpack PI can come up with a solution.

uhhh…and now the Jetpack Contact Form is working…???

On a semi-related note, the issue I was having with Contact Form 7 (after sending, there was no confirmation message), was solved by deactivating WP Super Cache. Hmph.

I’d still prefer to use an “official” contact form for some of my sites, but one thing that will keep me tied to CF7 is the ability to attach files in the email. This is a feature I’d like to request for the Jetpack form, while it’s being improved.

I have the same issue with contact form conflict on jet pack and simple facebook connect.

Was there any solution to this or a patch coming soon?

OK. So, I upgraded to the new Jetpack 1.3.1 and to my surprise, the same issue persists of not displaying the contact form when simple facebook plug in is active.

I thought that the Jet pack developers addressed this issue specifically with this update. Anyone else having the same issue? Does simple facebook need an update too?

We are actively working on a patch for this issue; 1.3.1 is meant to address a few other bugs. To do it the best we can will take some time.

the contact form also not working for my site. ??

I had the same problem so I just stopped using SFC ??
