[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] Comments do not work.

    Comments have been broken for me for the last few weeks. I just upgraded to Jetpack 1.8.2 and they are still not working. This problems seems to have happened when I upgraded to WordPress 3.4.2. I’m at wits end and have no idea how to fix it. Without comments working my site is, for my purposes, worthless as tits on a boar.

  • I have had the same problem. I have disabled the “jetpack comments” and my site went back to allowing comments.

    “You may have disabled javascript. Please enable javascript before leaving a comment on this site.” is what it was previously telling my readers.

    Please help!

    @allmostnatural I had a look at your site, and I noticed that you use an additional Anti Spam plugin on your site. Could you try to disable it, and let me know if it helps?

    Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin was not compatible with Jetpack Comments. Now that I have deactivated it, I am good to go! Thanks, Jeremy!
