Recently moved to a new server and the domain name has changed. Jetpack now says “unknown_token: It looks like your Jetpack connection is broken. Try disconnecting from WordPress.com then reconnecting.”

I’m nervous disconnecting and then reconnecting since the site url has changed. I don’t want to loose the stats history.

What’s the risk? Is there a file that can be manually edited to reflect the url change?

    I heard back from support.

“Since you’ve changed your URL, reconnecting the site will create a new site id in Jetpack and will start a new stats history.
I’m afraid there’s no way to merge the old stats back in to the new one that will be created yet, but this might be possible in the future.”

Sorry you didn’t get the news you wanted, but it’s not really surprising. In the bigger world of domains and traffic, which often has little to do with the little guy, traffic associated with specific domains names can mean big $$$ to some people, so I can understand why they wouldn’t want a mechanism for assigning the traffic stats of one domain name to another.
