[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] can't send summary of post to subscribers

  • Hi,
    I’m pretty happy with Jetpack, except for the problem that people opting for email subscriptions on my blog are getting the entire text of the post instead of just a summary. I cannot find a way to correct this.
    This is causing a problem as people are choosing to read the post in their mails rather than visiting the page, so my site hits is taking a dip.

    Please do solve this bug, Mr. Moore. We’ll be tremendously benefited.

  • I agree. It doesn’t make sense to send the complete post, pictures and all. Please allow us to send an excerpt of the post to subscribers. My RSS feeds are excerpts but not the subscription emails.
