• When the email (Submit) button is pressed the form info is sent to me but on the form page the Failure message appears. For now I have changed the Failure message to “Thanks, you will be contacted shortly.” What should I do to make sure the Success message is displayed instead of the Failure message?

It seems to be a peculiarity of your WordPress installation. There is a confusion between https://www.simtechwebdesign.com and https://simtechhost.com/stwdWP/.

I guess simtechhost.com is some kind of test environment and you migrated to simtechwebdesign.com without changing all of the references to the original domain? THe fact is that Jazzy Forms tries to send its request to simtechhost.com and this gets rejected by the browser, because it would be an attempt of cross-site scripting.

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

I’m afraid I’m not clear on what I need to do. The WordPress installation is on simtechhost.com (simtechhost.com/stwdWP) but the site URL is simtechwebdesign.com. In the General Settings the WordPress Address is https://simtechhost.com/stwdWP and the Site Address is https://www.simtechwebdesign.com.

Is there a setting somewhere I need to change?

Hi tfindlay. I actually don’t have enough experience on this field, although my guess would be to set both URLs to https://www.simtechwebdesign.com. From the documentation:

“The Site address (URL) is identical to the WordPress address (URL) (above) unless you are giving WordPress its own directory.”

From my understanding, this is not the case here.

Caution: changes to these fields can leave you without access to your administration panel–a bad pitfall.

Thanks for your help. I’ll explore this further. BTW, your plug-in is great! Thanks.

From what I can tell my WordPress Address and Site Address are set correctly. Perhaps the problem is occurring because the site is an Addon Domain (a subdirectory in simtechhost.com).

Since the plug-in reliably displays the Failure message I will just leave it as “Thanks, you will be contacted shortly.” for now.
