[Plugin: J Shortcodes] Alignment on columns- slider pushing text down?

I’m trying to have a Nivo Slider in a 2/3 column, and text next to it in the last third. But the Nivo Slider is pushing down the text in the third column. Any ideas? Do I need to align the slider?
