• A client has a hybrid site — part traditional (table layout, in fact) html/css with a WordPress blog. He recently moved the site to a Windows server at Firehost. Plugins are in a folder C:/inetpub/ABF/americasbestfranchises.com/blog/wp-content/plugins/

In WP admin, the message is that no plugins are available. Also the editor for posts and pages is not working. Under my username, I cannot see the text unless I highlight it, in either text or visual editor. Under a colleague’s username, the text editor works but we cannot switch to the visual editor. In other words, the site is weird.

The immediate issue is that the forms on the sales pages, which were built with Contact Form 7, have disappeared.

I’m hoping that deleting the plugin files and reinstalling them will work. The client’s IT guy went in and renamed the plugin file, but that did not solve the oddness with the editor, and plugins can not be installed. Does anyone have any experience with a similar situation?
