• Hi,

I LOVE this plugin. However it seems to be colliding with my Thesis theme.

Basically, for Thesis, when you first create a post, there’s an additional option titled “Post Image and Thumbnail”. Typically that’s where my post image sits. However, when I put the image in there, iSlidex fails to recognise any picture (i.e. nothing appears in the slider). The only way iSlidex works on my theme is if the image actually lies WITHIN my post text somewhere.

Is there a way I can modify the iSlidex JS or PHP so that it grabs the picture from the “Post Image and Thumbnail” field? It will greatly enhance the site and make life 1000x easier for me!

Thanks in advance ?? great plugin!

That event is to be expected, as Thesis themes are custom beyond any logical limit (and don’t work with many plugins).
As this is part of a customization, and not a bug, we could work on it for a fee.
However, why haven’t you tried iSlidex custom fields? They could serve the purpose you need without problems.

Hi Jany. As I’m doing this blog for a NFP organisation, and not getting paid, I’m afraid a paid job isn’t an option at this stage.

It works some times…and other times it doesn’t. iSledex seems to be grabbing random images from throughout a post – and featuring it as the slider picture. Ideally I want iSlidex to always grab the FIRST picture in a post (that way it’d work with the Thesis post image – as it’s the first image to appear on any post).

Any ideas on how I can tell iSlidex to display the first image in a post as the image that appears in the slider? Thanks again for your help on the matter ??
