Plugin is stripping HTML out of custom product fields!

    After a recent upgrade to wordpress 4.8, we noticed that any HTML data we input into product custom fields is being stripped / changed! Some examples:

    1. If you use a href=”https://www.somesite.com” it will change it by adding \ backslashes before the quotes. Or in some cases it will even strip out the URL completely.

    2. Identical issues with IMG SRC.

    3. If you edit one product field without HTML, but dont edit the fields with HTML, it still does this.

    I spent hours trying to track this down thinking it was the WORDPRESS 3.8 update. After extensive testing by turning all plugins off and then turning them back on one at a time, it turns out the issue was with your plugin.
