    Hi,

I have completed the bulk optimization but still all the images are showing in jpg or png format.

I have checked the results in chrome developer tools > network > img

Also, I cannot see any code inserted in the .htaccess file by your plugin.

    My website URL is

    homemade-circuits

    .com

    Kindly help!

    Thanks in Advance!

    Hi @swagatam1975,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you have encountered a problem with our plugin. Do not worry, I will try to explain you everything below.

I ran a test on your website. I simulated browsers with and without AVIF/WebP support to make sure everything was working. Thanks to this, I can check how much your original images weigh (i.e. what was before installing our plugin) and how much the images converted by our plugin weigh.

Here are the results of my tests (I am also sending screenshots as attachments):

This means that the plugin is working properly and all images are displayed in the version converted by the plugin.

Below I have attached the instructions:

Some images are not available in WebP format – that’s true. I suppose that your images have been optimized before and that’s why some of them after converting to WebP format are not smaller than the original ones. Therefore, the plugin loads original files instead of files.

In this situation, the solution will be to convert the images to the AVIF format – then definitely more images will be available in the new generation format. When using the AVIF format, all images should be available in the next generation format, since AVIF images are approximately 40% lighter than WebP images.

If you encounter any other questions, please, feel free to reach out to me.

    Best,
    Mateusz

Thank you for your detailed explanation, appreciate it very much.

Your plugin is awesome, and is working.

I was actually looking at the wrong column in the devtools.

Instead of looking at the “TYPE” column, I was looking directly at the image links, which caused the misunderstanding.

In the “TYPE” column I can clearly see most of the images converted to Webp version.

Many thanks again, problem is solved now.

    Best Regards

    Swag
