    Hi,
I installed the plugin and configured the plugin for one page.
I disable most of the plugins for this page but I till see them in the source code.
In the settings page I have a message:”Very important file missing. First, refresh this page, if you still see this message, disable Freesoul Deactivate Plugins and activate it again.
    If nothing helps,
    copy the file /wp-content/plugins/freesoul-deactivate-plugins/mu-plugins/eos-deactivate-plugins.php
and put it into the directory wp-content/mu-plugins/”

I disabled and enabled the plugin but it did not help.

    Sam

    Hi @samisraeli

the code to disable the other plugins has to run before all other plugins. This is why when you activate Freesouul Deactivate Plugins it automatically copies a file to wp-content/mu-plugins. If this doesn’t happen automatically, you see that warning. Usually, the cause of this problem is related to your server. Probably, you haven’t the right to write in the folder wp-content/mu-plugins.
Until that file is there, FDP will not disable any plugin. It will only inform you in the backend that you have that issue.

You still have to try what is suggested in the message:

    If nothing helps,
    copy the file /wp-content/plugins/freesoul-deactivate-plugins/mu-plugins/eos-deactivate-plugins.php
and put it into the directory wp-content/mu-plugins/”

You need FTP or the server File Manager to do that.

If you need to learn more about FTP: https://wplift.com/wordpress-ftp-access-guide

After copying that file it should work. But let me know if you still have issues.
