  • Hi @foxweb09,

Could you share the URL of your site, so we can have a look? You can do this privately under ‘the site I need help with’.

We have written an article with the most common reasons why the banner could not be appearing: https://complianz.io/cookie-banner-does-not-appear/

If you can share your URL, we’ll haver a look as well.

    Kind regards,
    Leon

    Hi @foxweb09,

It seems your theme is running a very old version of jQuery. Since update 5.5 WordPress dropped the migrate script to jQuery 3.0. Complianz also requires jQuery 3.0, so that is why the banner does not appear. While inspecting your site, I see several other console errors (right-click -> console while visiting the front-end of your site).

You can load jQuery 3.5 by inserting this script (preferably in the site footer):
    <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.5.1/jquery.min.js"></script>

Please note that your version of jQuery is known to contain security issues as well, so it might be worth considering to switch to a different theme.

    Kind regards,
    Leon

Yes the theme causes the problem. With your suggestion the plugin works but it conflicts with slider revolution plugin! Thank you very much!

    Hi @foxweb09,

That’s great to hear. Are you running the latest version of Slider Revolution?

I still see quite some console errors while inspecting your site. I would advise you to investigate those as well.

    Kind regards,
    Leon

Yes I have installed the latest version of slider revolution but nothing changed!

@foxweb09 Would it be possible to test changing to another theme (eg. Twenty Twenty) solves the problems? You can remove the provided script while testing.

It is possible that both Complianz and Revolution Slider keep working with a more up-to-date theme.

Let me know if it works.

    Regards,
    Leon
