  • Hi Guys and girls. about the checkout page:

I can prove that the translations are correct by activating a wordpress standard theme (twenty forteen)
But as soon as I switch back to Socute by yithemes the checkoutpage translattions are messed up again. Yithemes does not provide any support. they claim they optimized their theme for wpml. Of course their claim is bullshit because people using wpml face the same issues.

    So my question now is:

WHAT TO FIX HOW TO MAKE THE TRANSLATIONS VISIBLE IN MY THEME?
I DONT GET THE PART WITH bloginfo(‘xxx’) … is that supposed to help anything???

I have been facing the same situation.
Make sure you have installed your po-mo language files for commerce.
In addition, you need to make sure you have the WP settings in the language tab set for your languages. Once this done, try:
    WP settings – language settings
-advanced -> Update Gettext Databases ->Select: Update Gettext databases now -> Save changes.
After I did this, items like add to cart changed to the correct language. This might be a fluke, but after searching everywhere for a solution, this seemed to work.
