Hello. I just enabled Mailerlite for one of my clients and the integration via this plugin seems to be broken. I set up the API key, it connected correctly, I created a subscriber group just fine, but when it was time to sync, the plugin just said it was syncing products and orders and customer’s addresses but there was no data in Mailerlite’s dashboard.

The client’s store has 2000+ customers and the plugin said it was syncing ~1400 items – not sure what this meant though, because this was not the number of customers or orders or products.

In the end I had to manually upload a CSV file with all the data. I thought the problem could be due to existing customers not having previously authorized sending emails but then I also couldn’t find some checkbox in the user’s profile to enable it manually for everyone.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Hello @mailerlite , I’ll contact you via the link to see if we can fix this.

But as for the opt-in situation I will leave a feedback. The AutomateWoo plugin has a switch where the shop owner can choose between “opt in” and “opt out” modes. In opt in mode, AutomateWoo stores a list of authorizations and only sends emails to people that explicitly set their preference to receive marketing emails during checkout.

In opt out mode, AutomateWoo changes to use a block list instead, and sends emails to everyone except those that explicitly asked not to be mailed.

Both the shop owner and the customer can change their mailing preferences via the dashboard or My account respectively. And AutomateWoo also has a batch feature where you can add everyone to the authorization or block lists if you ever need to.
