    Hi there

I have used Rankmath with classic editor since the early days. I have decided to use Gutenberg (for the second time) again and again it is letting me down.

Looks like Rankmath does not have a good relationship with Gutenberg.

Inn the image attached (https://ibb.co/cDm9KRw) i have pointed what the issue is.

As you can see in the image i have used a focus keyword (natal chart) in all mentioned below, but as you can see it appears as not.

Focus Keyword does appear in the SEO title.
Focus Keyword found in your SEO Meta Description. (not showing in the image, but it is there)
Focus Keyword found in the URL. (not showing in the image, but it is there)
Focus Keyword does appear at the beginning of your content.
Focus Keyword does appear in the content.`
    Focus Keyword found in subheading(s) like H2, H3, H4,
Focus Keyword does appear at the beginning of SEO title

    Thanks for your time!

    p,s
I have addressed this error in the past and switched back to classic editor.

    Hello @eddievet,

Thank you for contacting the support.

At this time, the plugin checks for 100% keyword match only.

You can follow the following guide to reach 100:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/score-100-in-tests/

But please stay advised that these tests are just guidelines and one does not need to follow them religiously.

At the end of the day, the content needs to be written for the readers and not for the search engines.

Scoring higher points in Rank Math’s tests won’t guarantee higher rankings.`

Also, if you want to optimize your content better, you can utilize our Content AI. You can read more about the same on this page:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-use-content-ai/

    Hope that helps.

    Hi there

I think you have misunderstood the whole thing. I am not looking to get 100% score

I thought you noticed the criteria listed are already met, but the plugin says that i haven’t met those.

As you can see the keyword is available in all those criteria listed i,e in the title, seo meta description, H2 title etc.

If the criteria is met then why the plugin does not notices those changes?

    Thanks

    Hello @eddievet

The focus keyword you used is natal chart report but your title contains natal chart calculation report, thus the test is failing.

As mentioned above, the plugin checks for the 100% exact match at this time.

With that being said, there are existing feature requests, so we’ve added your vote to our internal suggestions lists. If your suggestions are something that we’re able to introduce, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Hope that helps and clears the confusion. Thank you.

    Hi there

In the classic editor i could enter more than one keyword and the score would remain the same as long as it contained the main keyword. However, I removed the other keywords and left only one Natal Chart. Still, the result/score of the criteria motioned didn’t change.

Please remember that I never run into these sort of errors while I was using the old editor. I’m following the same steps in Gutenberg as I did with classis but and these errors appeared.

    Thanks

    Hello @eddievet

Please stay advised that the scoring is done based only on the primary focus keyword. Secondary keywords have separate tests but do not affect the overall SEO score.

Here is a screencast showing the same:
    https://i.rankmath.com/W9AE3G

As mentioned earlier, you can utilize the Content AI to improve the overall content on your website:

    Hope that helps. Thank you.
