Plugin is distorting product image

Hello,
I installed this plugin and as soon as I activate the plugin, it immediately distorts the product image size.

The product images are usually square, and the plugin makes the image super zoomed and a long thin horizontal rectangle. I want it to be a square and then when someone hovers over it, it zooms in on the detail.

Please help.
