Hello, this is for a test site and when the plugin is active, the links in the mobile menu on an iPhone need to be pressed down a lot more than people are used to. Then, when the link is activated, it causes the browser window to shrink and opens up the iPhone’s toolbar. The people at Elegant Themes ran some tests and they found the issue is being caused by the Traction plugin. Is there any workaround for this issue? Thanks

Do you have a URL that I can look at to see the behavior that you are describing? You can post it here, or if you don’t want others to see the URL you can send it to me through the Team Traction WordPress plugin support form.

Can you confirm for me that when you disable the speed bump plug-in that the mobile menu works as expected? I confirmed the issue you are having and even on desktop browsers at mobile sizes the mobile menu links don’t work. I have Divi for testing purposes and the mobile menu HTML output is different from what I’m seeing on your site.

Your mobile menu is wrapped in an anchor tag which is at the very least throwing off how my plug-in works. If you want to let me know when the speed bump plug-in is deactivated and I’ll take another look at the site you sent me.

This issue was determined to be a problem with how Elegant Themes has Divi menu modules coded. They are wrapping the entire menu in an anchor tag and shouldn’t be.

I have submitted all the information and research I did to Elegant Themes and they told me the following:
“Thanks for your report. Actually, I do agree with you that it’s not the best way that is implemented and I think I can let our developers know about it. If you use the default header/menu then it works fine. Instead of an anchor link, it’s all wrapped by a div.
So, thanks for your explanation. Hopefully, it’ll be addressed soon in one of the future Divi updates.”

I’m considering this topic resolved. If anyone else is having this issue don’t use the Divi modules for your menus, it will not work with this plugin. You must use the default menu produced by header.php.
