• so, i installed the plugin and set everything up. thought that all was good until the checkout page. now i have items in my basket, all singular items which is fine. the prices are correct and totals up correctly, but it i increase the quantity of any of the items within the basket from 1 to 2, the price for the single item is halved and the total for that item remains the price for one single item, so an item costing £10 each is changed to £5 each. if the quantity is increased to 4 items, the price is reduces to £2.50 each.i have tried 3 or 4 times raising this issue with the developers but they do now respond unless you are a paying customer and bought the pro version. maybe i would have purchased the pro version if they has responded and corrected the issue. if the plugin does not work correctly, why would anyone purchase the pro version. i will no be removing the plugin and use a different one that actually works correctly! very poor service considering the correspondence from me was to tell them of the error and that cant be bothered to correct it!!!

    Hi @sandsprinting

I’m sorry you are having issues with our plugin.

As mentioned in our email communication, this is normal behaviour since you define it as a flat fee. A flat fee is a fixed additional price regardless of the quantity.

Let’s say you have an extra cost of $10 for 1 product. Now when you add 2 products to the cart, you still want the extra cost to be $10 (and not $20, meaning the cost is fixed no matter the quantity). WooCommerce multiplies all costs by the quantity in the cart. So to add a fixed cost of $10, it means each item will have an additional cost of $5 (because $5 * 2 = $10, the flat fee you added in the settings).

    Hope that helps!

It does not seem like “reasonable” behavior since products made up of options are simply added and each one has a unit price. By increasing the number of units it should add and not divide.

(EDIT) Looking at the documentation it seems that you have to select the “Quantity based flat fee” option so that the prices increase when adding more units. I think support should explain it better.

    Hi @estonoesunchaowei

We explain this in a few places:

    1) On the plugin description page we added a whole section talking about the limitations of the free version. It is added there: https://i.snipboard.io/Hjty8B.jpg

    2) The pricing settings inside the plugin also hints at this: https://i.snipboard.io/wtSPWk.jpg

    3) We have an important note at each pricing setting: https://i.snipboard.io/2SbtLy.jpg

I understand we can always do more, but I hope you can see we are not trying to hide it :).
