[Plugin: IP Ban] Does not seem to work correctly

The ban link in the spam comments review page does not work
it gives the error message
“Your attempt to bulk modify comments has failed.Please try again.”
1. I was not attempting to bulk modify comments
2. I am still unsure if it works or Not the error returned to a banned ip should be ‘403 access denied’ NOT ‘404 – not found’
