• Sorry for the odd topic, but I don’t really know how else to describe it.

I have the Yoast SEO plugin installed. I am using the most current version of WordPress. All my plugins are up to date. I am using Blocks.

I don’t know if that screenshot image will upload, or not. If not, I don’t know how to upload a screenshot here.

What’s happening is that the Yoast panel is fixed on the page and when I try to create, or edit, a page that is of any length, the Yoast panel blocks part of the screen. I can’t see what I’m typing, or what I’m doing. With the older (pre-Blocks) versions of WP, this Yoast panel would float below the editable area. If the page was longer, the Yoast panel would move down so that it was always at the bottom of the post. Now it appears to be fixed in place which is inconvenient, to say the least.

Thoughts on a solution are appreciated. I could uninstall the plugin; however, then I’d lose those SEO elements.

    Thanks

  • Hi @photog, I honestly think this is a Yoast Problem. Besides, i’ve not seen others complaining about this issue.

Why not contact Yoast with screenshots so they help with it?

    Thanks ??

I don’t know where the problem lies. I will contact the plugin developer. Didn’t think it would hurt to try here as well.
