[Plugin: IntenseDebate Comments] Still in development?

  • It’s been more than 3 months since the ID plugin has been updated, and the blog has been silent since then as well.

    All that makes me wonder if IntenseDebate is still being worked on as a product? Disqus is looming. It looks better, it works better and it just seems a LOT more polished than IntenseDebate. If ID team doesn’t roll out a MAJOR update to both the service and the plugin, it will be as good as dead before long.

    The IntenseDebate service and plugin are still under active development.

    Keep in mind that the plugin is mostly just a gateway to the IntenseDebate service itself, so even if development on the plugin appears to be dormant, it doesn’t necessarily mean that development on the service itself is.
