Plugin installed, still getting weird signup spam?

    I’ve been trying this plugin to reduce these weird sign up spams I keep getting but it barely seems to have made a difference.

    Someone or some thing keeps signing up to accounts on my site using invalid e-mails from a bunch of dormant or parked domains, addresses like:-

    [email protected]
    [email protected]

    Once the account is created it’s just left there, no logon attempts, no spam comments.

    Does anyone have any idea what this person or persons is trying to do? If the CAPTCHA isn’t stopping them are they are real person?

    I am sorry to read about your issue. It is difficult to tell if the registrations are automated or not. However, the first thing you should check is the CAPTCHA check on the registration page, and confirm that it is firing.

    Can you please share the URL of the registration page?
