Plugin installation SEO Yoast

I just installed SEO by Yoast, which I love. I noticed shortly after using it that the dashboard changed a few things. The manual posting links for Social media on the right side of the screen disappeared. Is that normal for the Yoast plug-in to take that over?
The Jetpack site stats also seems to have changed.
