Plugin installation = Parse error every time.
-
I’m setting up a new blog for a client of mine. Every plug in I try to install I get a parse error with sytax error… It’s so frustrating. I have NO IDEA why it is doing this. Please, can anyone shed any light on this issue and how I get it to work so I can continue with this job.
The error I get is the same regardless of what plug in I try to install. I’ve tried Jetpack, Facebook, Navayan Subscribe… all with the same results. Akismet however did install correctly without error.
An example of the error is this:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /hsphere/local/home/perthsit/ripematernitywa.com.au/blog/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack-user-agent.php on line 69
Thanks in advance. Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.
Kindest. ??
