  • Maybe it has samething to do with the rights of your plugins folder. Read the Codex for more info.

    Good luck!

I read the Codex..and it look totally Hebrew to me..it is not my cup of tea..lets see what happen… as the codex says..if I install it chances r I don’t need to do anything..so i am not doing anything..
    Thanks.

    Just trying to help ;).

The line ‘Could not create directory’ indicates that there’s a problem with the permissions. You should make the plugins folder writable. Making writable is giving it the permission 777 (or 775). How you can do that depends on your ftp client or hosting software (like cPanel for example).

What FTP program are you using?

Thanks for the speedy answer. I use normally File zilla..but when it is a WordPress I try to do it from WordPress..don’t use FTP. I use IPage C Panel..then WordPress and then login to wordpress module and then try to do edit, installation and so on.

Would you do me a favor..? would you go to the site https://www.yellowtaxiblog.com and check it out. I am just building it from yesterday..and I am not proficient in WordPress so it is taking me long time. Please give me ur valuable opinion. It will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    You should try the following:

    1. Acces your WordPress installation folder via cPanel or FileZilla
    2. Make the following folder writeable (that is, change the permissions to 777)
    – /wp-content/
    – /wp-content/cache/
    – /wp-content/uploads/
How you can make folders writable depends on which method you choose (FileZilla or cPanel). Which one do you choose?
