I’ve been doing a lot of WP installs that all use the same plugins – about 12 different ones. Is there any way to install those besides installing each one at a time…something to make it a little faster

    Thanks in advance

  • The fastest method may be to just copy the plugins directory of a site that is setup the way you like it to a safe place locally ( your Documents folder, thumb drive, desktop, etc… ) and then just upload the already un-zipped contents to the plugins directory of each new install using your ftp client?

Thanks for the reply…the problem with the unzipped files is some contain stylesheets specific to that site design. I guess I could unzip them before installing. I just thought there was something more “hi-tech” out there…

    Thanks again

You would of course, need to unzip them before editing them to suit a particular themes style anyhow, so yeah… it’s probably more efficient to go “low tech” in this case. But it wouldn’t surprise me at all of someone has a custom made solution somewhere. Don’t give up on the idea yet!

    Good luck to you!
