I’m sorry I can’t help with coding it, but I really want to renew the perennial request for a jump-to-date feature for infinite-scroll. It’s time. It could work via widget, or form…
Usability-wise, it is pretty essential for a huge and constantly updated blog. Conceptually it’s easy to understand, I just wish I knew what it needed in the code.
The current binary choice between pagination and infinite scroll with NO controls is really not ideal and seems ripe for improvement. This plugin dates from 2008.
