Plugin importing wrong price

Hi,

I understand there are 3 prices, standard, regular and discounted, I understand if the discounted price is empty it imports the wholesaler price as discount to catalog. I assume it is creating a discrepancy.

Can you provide us a screenshot of the issue on your end? For screenshots, you may want to use https://snipboard.io.

Are the prices coming through any wholesale plugin? Can you provide more details about the steps made on the site that creates the price issue?

May I ask, can you go to your site backend, look for the product that is having the issue, edit it, go to the Facebook tab, and do a manual update or sync the product individually? Does the issue persist?

If it persists, can you switch the site theme to Storefront temporarily, and then disable all plugins except WooCommerce, Facebook for WooCommerce and your Wholesale plugins (if any)? Check again to see if the issue persists, if not, it means a conflict was affecting the site, and you can then switch back your theme to the original one, and then reactivate the rest of the plugins (checking again after each plugin reactivation), until you find the culprit as explained here: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

I’m not able to switch themes, nor test it as it’s a live site, selling quite high amounts every our so that just not doable for now to impact any of this.

It’s also hard to replicate this problems as it happens only on some of the products – absolutely randomly – mainly with products that don’t have discount price filled.

Don’t really know what can I screenshot to describe this issue – it’s just the problem with Facebook plugin allowing to import as discounted price value from field that is not a discounted price one.

A lot of custom catalog/feed plugins has an option to select which fields will be imported as what we want – maybe that would bee good idea to have some simple selector to restrict on what the plugin can build out the feed for Facebook catalog.

I highly recommend updating your WordPress, and WooCommerce versions to see if that makes a difference.

If the issue persists, it is a good idea to find a developer to check the code for you, to look for the cause of the issue.

I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack.

Please note, custom code is not supported on our forum, however, I’m going to leave the thread open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.

I will just use different integration as this plugin is always problematic. Ability to map selected fields for what we want to submit to Facebook in this and more cases would do all kind of tricks.

I would like to point out that you have the option to send a custom price to Facebook by modifying the settings in the product’s “Facebook” tab.
