Features Missing after upgrade to WordPress 4.3 ?

Hi Bill,
After WordPress 4.3 upgrade, “Excerpt” and “Read More …” seem not working consistently on every post.
It could be the new WP issue. The other plugin such as Ultimate Timeline I am using has the same problems.
