[Plugin: IDrive for WordPress] Remove log records from DB

Hi,

After using the iDrive backup system for a while now, I noticed my database has grown from about 10 MB to almost 120 MB in size. Way over the 100 MB limit of the provider causing all kinds of DB connection errors.

Investigating the DB tables, I see it’s the ones created by iDrive that are taking up about 100 MB. Of those, the log table is by far the biggest with more than 96 MB.

So, two questions:
1. Is it really necessary to create new DB tables and lean on server resources like that while iDrive has all those Gigs available for storage (for example in flat .txt or .log file format) elsewhere?
2. Could you implement either an automatic log entry clean-up (let’s say for entries older than 30 days) or at least provide a back-end “Clear logs” button?
