• In my never ending quest to find a clean way to dislay my trackback/feedback/comments, I was thinking of how best to organize it.

Here’s my idea, and maybe some genius can figure out how to make it happen.
    ??

Basically, under a post you would have a tabbed section that would have the following options:

    | Post Comment | View Comments (#) | Trackbacks (?) | Pingbacks (?)

    ———————————
Post comment – would show the standard comment form, and would be shown by default.

View Comments – would show the existing comments and the title would show how many there are currently.

Trackbacks – would display all trackbacks on the post. The (?) would be an explanation of what a trackback is…the default trackback screen would show the URI to trackback to and maybe a brief tutorial of how to trackback?

Pingbacks – same as trackbacks, but with, yep, pingbacks instead.
    ———————————

The plugin itself could be ajax or just some clever CSS divs that would display the appropriate content onclick (thinking about Alex Kings ‘Share It’ as an example…).

I don’t know how many people would be interested in something like this, but for me, someone who is very conservative about layout and hates clutter, it would be a godsend.

    Any thoughts, suggestions or volunteers?
