Recently installed and activated plug-in, and have three different outcomes in 3 different browsers.

    Chrome – Works perfect

Firefox – Player appears but songs won’t play – clicking on play button switches it to pause for a quick second, then goes back to play.

IE9 – Player does not even appear.

Here is link to page with player – https://www.israalien.com/home/?page_id=117 – the code’s a bit of a mess but, hopefully, someone can figure out what’s up?

Tried steps in the forum topic re: player not appearing and nothing worked. I did not have a .htaccess file but created one to add mime types – still no difference.

    Thank you for any assistance.

    Hi @realgw

The plugin has been extensively tested across all browsers and is working fine for 4000+ users…. so in this case, its a pretty safe bet to say the issue is not the plugin, it’s your theme code. I had a quick look and as you said yourself, it is indeed a bit of a mess!

Sorry, but there’s nothing to really fix with the plugin here… its a problem you need to address in your code.

I am having the same problem too, however I tested this link > https://www.israalien.com/home/?page_id=117 < in Chrome and it works fine but it will not work in Firefox and it just will not display in IE.

I could be completely wrong but don’t you have to be using the HTML5 Doctype declaration (at the very least) in order to use this plugin? Considering it’s the HTML5 jQuery Audio Player… the theme is also not using expected document structure and is tables for layout. I’m not about to start a tables for layout is bad argument as anyone still using it in 2012 and calling themselves a web designer must be a very stubborn individual indeed.

Yeah I think @mccormicky might have a good point there. Your site uses pretty old document structure, tables and does not use the HTML5 Doctype… Maybe try at least declaring the HTML5 Doctype and see if that helps.
