    Hi,
    I am looking for a plugin to be a base for a very specific client requirement for approval and workflow.

    As well as custom post, page and CPT statuses, they have different types of content and different roles and user groups which are allowed to approve different steps in the process.

    They also have WPML, and they need to be able to apply the same process to already published posts.

    I cannot find a single plugin which does all this. My question is would it be possible to build a solution on top of PublishPress using hooks, and if we needed extra hooks how willing would you be to add them to your product as part of the support arrangement?

    thank you.

    @dstorkey,

    The solution you describe is not only possible, it is right in our wheelhouse. We are already nearing release of a Press Permit update which brings detailed permissions control and pre-publication workflow guidance to PublishPress. Meanwhile, our Revisionary plugin, which supports moderated editing of published content, is nearing a Gutenberg compatibility release.

    Please contact us at [email protected] to discuss workflow sequence, access control and approval needs in more detail. It’s possible that most of it is already supported by upcoming plugin releases. If additional development is needed, we support a 50% discount on consulting work which is suitable for inclusion in the plugin code base. If your particular use case would benefit from some simple hook additions, we would probably choose to add those without an extra fee.
