  • Check out the Plugin Home page link. Is that the “other plugin”? Did you update the plugin a few days ago? Could you have made a mistake in the header block that includes the plugin’s name?

Have checked all that and redone svn and the title is still wrong!

Thanks to another plugin developer, I’ve located 2 areas where your plugin name appears to be missing in your svn:

    1. Your readme file. As I understand it === Plugin Name === should be replaced with something like === Church Directory ===

    2. Your main plugin file (index.php). According to this Codex sub-section, you need:

Plugin Name: Name Of The Plugin
    Plugin URI: https://URI_Of_Page_Describing_Plugin_and_Updates

at the top of the file. From what I can see, your index.php doesn’t include this info.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for that. I had missed the readme.txt title! And after using the readme.txt validator too ??

I’d also updated my install of Notepad++ which was doing weird things with linefeeds, further compounding the issue.

A new freebie IDE and everything is fixed.

Thank you kindly for your help
