One of the clients I’m working for is currently experiencing some issues with the plugin – for some reason when I activate a newer version of the same theme (considering both use and have an active instance of Cerber Security WP plugin), the plugin automatically sends an email to the website’s Admin (client’s email) saying that the plugin has been deactivated.

Do you think you would be able to offer me assistance in solving this issue?

That means some code in the theme deactivates and activates all the plugins during the process of upgrading. Perhaps it’s due to some poorly designed piece of code in the theme. Ask the theme developer for clarification.
