Plugin Has Adware

  • I was fine with the subtle hints about purchasing the premium support version. I was using the plugin for awhile and happily ignoring it. Logged into my person, self-hosting, panel today and what do I see? A big ol’ flashy banner at the top of every control panel page. Those ones you’d find in the year 2005 with a bird target thingy.

    That has gone too far. If there’s any good alternatives, I highly advise you to go with those alternatives

    Thanks for your comment.

    We understand that the Black Friday banner was annoying. Although it was dismissable, it was a bit buggy so we listened to our community and yesterday we publicly apologized for any inconvenience this may have caused to our users (link to Twitter) and released Yoast SEO v12.6.2 which completely removes the banner from the admin panel.
