Plugin hanging when I try to open

  • I think ever since either 3.8 or the latest version of the plugin updated, the site hangs like 2-3 minutes when I click the Downloads menu item to try to work inside the plugin.

    This is happening on two different sites with different servers, and themes just lately.

    Oddly, the version of the plugin on one site is the old style one and the version on the other site is the latest version.

  • I can confirm this happening to me as well. In the odd occasion I can access the Download Monitor to add new downloads it will loose connection, with WordPress specifically telling me that at the top of the page. But in the past few days simply clicking Downloads from within the WPAdmin makes it lag/hang.

    the same here.
    i can access the plugin’s settings, categories, tags, logs, add-ons and docs
    but Add downloads “if loaded” shows “connection lost,…. etc”
    and if i clicked on “All Downloads” its hanging loading it, and after 2 minuets a 404 not found page delivered
